International Relations
Budapest Business School is one of the higher education institutions with the most wide-ranging international relations in Hungary. We maintain live and active contact with as many as 183 foreign higher education institutions in 42 countries on five continents.
The international relations of the Faculty of Finance and Accountancy are currently strengthening owing to the fact that Hungary has become a member of the European Union and therefore international and EU principles and trends also gain ground in the Hungarian financial and accounting regulation, and the language of regulation has opened up towards the English language.
International cooperation can be divided into the following categories of relations
- Strategic cooperation: cooperation agreements based on dual degrees, joint academic programmes, research and projects.
- A system of relations based on student, teacher and staff mobility within the framework of the Erasmus Programme.
- Bilateral educational, research and scientific cooperation outside the scope of the Erasmus Programme.
Budapest Business School is a member of several renowned international organisations such as EURASHE, which is the association of European practice-oriented higher education institutions, EDEN, whose members are institutions and experts involved in distance and e-learning, and SPACE, which is a European network of institutions focusing on business studies and languages.
